At the conclusion of Miss Ohio USA 2018 finale held at Fountain Square, Springfield in Ohio, Deneen Paige Penn was crowned Miss Ohio USA 2018. She will now go on to represent her state in Miss USA 2018 to be held next year. She succeeds and was crowned by Miss Ohio USA 2017 Dinaleigh Baxter.
Deneen is 20 years of age and was born and raised in Andover. She has completed her bachelor’s degree from Maplewood High School in 2015.
This young lady wants to continue working towards her dream of completing her education in business administration, and later earn a second degree in architecture. She has been able to manage to continue her education till date without having a student loan debt.
Having achieved her childhood dream of winning a Miss USA pageant, Baxter really looks forward to what the future holds for her. The beauty queen is very determined and says, “This is such an amazing opportunity, I will use this crown and sash as a megaphone to encourage everyone, especially young people, to dream big. I want to go into schools and have career days in which kids will dress up in the clothing of careers that they want to be involved in.”
At the same event, Sofia Durina was crowned Miss Teen USA 2018 and she will now go on to represent her state in Miss Teen USA 2018 to be held next year.
