The 21st edition of Puteri Indonesia has started and is now in full swing. The contestants are gearing up for the big day and also enjoying the training session. This Pageant was started almost 25 years ago and has been successful since then. As rightly named Puteri Indonesia which means Princess of Indonesia, the Pageant has seen some breath-taking beauties winning the title and honoring it.

Talking of the events, Puteri Indonesia Foundation will be hosting an Arts and Culture Night in association with Mustika Ratu. The event will be hosted today at 19:00 hours at Studio 1 Indosiar in Jakarta. The event will see some great cultural storming by renowned artists from Indonesia. The Puteri Indonesia 2017 contestants will also be a part of the event. This will not only give the participants knowledge of the Indonesian culture and history, but will also give the required media exposure to the contestants. The beauties will be able to put forth their cultural interests and their creativity.
The contestants reached the venue in the morning and attended an event on the corruption in the KPK Building in Jakarta. They had a chance to speak on how corruption is a slow poison to the nation, and the corrective steps that could be taken to eradicate it.
The contestants have been busy with rehearsals and training for the final gala night. Besides the rehearsals, they also enjoyed some great Zumba training that helped them to keep fit and glowing. The contestants were seen having fun at the Zumba session. They also got some hands on training on make-up from the Moor’s Professional Make Up helping to beautify them. The training will help them to do the touch ups on their own and also get that perfect look even when their personal makeup artist takes a day off.

By all this we can conclude that looking beautiful is not a cake walk.
The main event will be hosted on the 31st of March where the reigning queen Kezia Warouw of North Sulawesi will crown her successor.
