At the magnificent finale of Puteri Indonesia 2017 held on 31st March 2017, DKI Jakarta 5 Bunga Jelitha Ibrani was crowned as the winner. Bunga succeeds Kezia Warouw and will now represent Indonesia at the Miss Universe 2017 pageant, to be held later this year. At the same pageant, Kevin Liliana of Jawa Barat was crowned Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan (Miss International Indonesia 2017) and Karina Nadila of Nusa Tenggara Timur was crowned Puteri Indonesia Pariwisata (Miss Supranational Indonesia 2017).

The Top 3 finalists were among our favourites for the title.
The finale of Puteri Indonesia 2017 was attended by the reigning Miss Universe Iris Mittenaere, and also the Miss Grand International owner Mr Nawat.
25 year old Bunga Jelitha Ibrani is a model by profession. Bunga is shy by nature and takes time to socialise with people. She has always been interested in modelling and has had her share of experience. She grabbed the 1st Place in Gading Model Search 2005, and represented Indonesia at Asian Model Search 2011 in Singapore. It is her dream to see her parents happy. Bunga enjoys trying new things to bring versatility in life.
The pageant started with an introductory performance by the contestants. The girls graced the stage in their cocktail dresses and performed some traditional moves in front of the audience and the judges. The girls then took turn to introduce themselves in front of the judges. After the 38 contestants introduced themselves to the judges, it was then time for the Evening Gown Round. All the 38 beauties dazzled in their respective gowns. After the Evening Gown Competition, it was time to announce the Top 11 finalists for the night –

The Top 11 finalists then went through a Question and Answer round wherein the questions were asked by fans via Twitter. Each contestant had 30 seconds to answer the Question. The Q&A session was followed by a musical performance. On the basis of the public vote added with the judges’ vote, the Top 6 finalists for the night were announced –

The Top 6 finalists then had to answer the Question put forth by the judges. The Q&A was followed by another musical performance, during which the reigning queens along with their mentor, Miss Universe Indonesia 2014 Elvira Devinamira, graced the stage donning gorgeous gowns and dresses. Based on the Q&A of the Top 6, following made it to the Top 3 finalists –

After the distribution of the Special Award, The Top 3 had a final round of test – the common Q&A round. Based on this final round, the winners for the night were announced.
