Wilda Octaviana Situngkir to represent Kalimantan Barat in Puteri Indonesia 2018

Miss Universe Puteri Indonesia Bunga Jelitha Ibrani Finals Indonesia Kalimantan Barat Asia

On 3rd February 2018, Wilda Octaviana Situngkir was crowned Puteri Indonesia Kalimantan Barat 2018 at the coronation night of Puteri Indonesia Se Kalimantan 2018 and she will now represent West Kalimantan province in Puteri Indonesia 2018. She bested 24 other contestants to clinch the title. She was crowned by the outing queen Pingkan Rilly Yunita.

Puteri Indonesia Se Kalimantan 2018 is a state pageant that sets to crown queens from 5 provinces of the Kalimantan state for Puteri Indonesia 2018. This year a total of 25 candidates were participating in the contest.

Wilda Octaviana Situngkir is 19 years of age and is a student of Agribusiness at Panca Bakti University. This young queen has been a constant hard-worker and inspiration since her high school days. Having faced bullying in school, she didn’t let others deter her to choose the path of success. She went to become the chairman of her campus organization even when she was constantly ostracized by her fellow mates.

Dimas Eko, one of Wilda's trainers at Jepin Studio, where Wilda has been doing modelling for the past year is touched and proud of Wilda’s extraordinary journey. She prepared for the competition with utter determination, taking care of her strict diet and fitness regime regularly. She also took great care of her vocal skills through public speaking practice every day.

According to Wilda, she just wants to inspire people because she believes in giving a fitting reply to her bullies through achievements.

The grand finale of Puteri Indonesia 2018 will take place on 9th March 2018 where the winner will be crowned by Miss Universe Indonesia 2017 Bunga Jelitha Ibrani for Miss Universe 2018.
