The coronation night of Puteri Indonesia Se Kalimantan 2018 concluded with the crowning of Cahaya Nur Hikmah as Puteri Indonesia Kalimantan Timur 2018. She will now go on to represent Kalimantan Timur (East Kalimantan) in Puteri Indonesia 2018. She was crowned by the outgoing queen Gituen Miracline Samantha, Puteri Indonesia Kalimantan Timur 2017.

Along with the winning title, Cahaya also received the award for “Best Catwalk Puteri Indonesia Kalimantan 2018.”

Cahaya is 21 years of age and stands tall at 172 cm. She is a student of English Literature at the University of Balikpapan. A model by profession, Cahaya is actively involved in many occupations like freelance hosting and professional MC. She was also a Femina finalist in 2016. Cahaya enjoys singing and dancing and is also a regional dancer.

Cahaya had a heartfelt message for her family and followers on Instagram after she won -

“A night to remember! What I thought at that time of coronation is whoever is chosen as Puteri Indonesia Kaltim 2018, either Maya or I, we both already have good vision for Puteri Indonesia. It’s my honour to stand among the two gorgeous girls of East Kalimantan.I thank the entire jury that has been entrusted me. Also, I thank my family, friends and PL who always supported me in this journey from the beginning. There are still many things to come and to achieve, so I need focus, hard-work and sacrifice. I'm beyond blessed!!”

Puteri Indonesia Se Kalimantan 2018 is a state pageant that sets to crown queens from 5 provinces of the Kalimantan state for Puteri Indonesia 2018. This year a total of 25 candidates were participating in the contest.
