The talent and national costume round of Puteri Indonesia 2018 was held yesterday, 6th March 2018 at Grabd Sahid Jaya Hotel, Jakarta, where 39 finalists of the competition took part and showcased their exceptional talents while they demonstrated the rich culture and heritage diversity of Indonesia through their regional national costumes.
The girls focused on promoting their regional customs and arts through their attires and performance in this round. Finalists of Puteri Indonesia 2018 talent round used local clothing and musical instruments from each region to showcase their specialities. Some of the talents performed were singing, dancing, musical poetry, boxing, martial arts, nembang, among others.
They were competing for the title of Puteri Indonesia Berbakat 2018 (Puteri Indonesia Talented 2018) and Puteri Indonesia Busana Tradisional Terbaik 2018 (Puteri Indonesia Best Traditional Clothing 2018), the winner of which will be declared on the coronation night on 9th March 2018.
The event was hosted by the reigning Miss Grand Indonesia 2017 Dea Rizkita and Miss Supranational Indonesia 2017 Karina Nadila.
The judges of the show were President Director of PT Mustika Ratu Tbk who is also Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Miss Indonesia Foundation, Putri Kus Wisnu Wardani, Chairman of the Indonesian Women's Selection Jury 2018, Kusumadewi Sutanto, Chairman of the Board, Bambang Soesatyo, Special Staff of Kemenpora Communication & Partnership Division, Anggia Erma Rini, Industry Economist Jonny Darmawan, Puteri Indonesia 2016, Kezia Warouw, Deputy Head of Indonesia Creative Economy Body, Ricky Persik and Senior Corporate Communication PT Mustika Ratu Tbk, Mega Angkasa.
