Shalsabila Lestari Putri Suteja (aka Shalsabila Putri) from East Lombok was crowned Puteri Indonesia Nusa Tenggara Barat 2020 as she became the official representative of Nusa Tenggara Barat in Puteri Indonesia 2020. Shalsabila succeeded 20 other finalists to win the state title as she went through several stages of the judging process.

The event was attended by the Deputy Governor of the NTB Province, Hj. Sitti Rohmi Djalillah and Head of the NTB Provincial Tourism Office H. Lalu Moh. Faozal. The coronation night took place on 6th December 2019 at the Ballroom Hotel Lombok Raya.

Shalsabila took to her official social media to reveal her emotions after coronation in a post captioned, “I as the Princess of Indonesia NTB 2020 would like to say thank you for the support and support from all parties and thank you for your trust in me. Thank you also princess, say to the super patient 4b, thank you again to all the sponsors who have already supported the selection of the NTB Indonesia Girls 2020. Also, thanks to the NTB regional government and also East Lombok who have supported the event.” The newly crowned queen’s court included –

First Runner-up – Ni Kadek Selvia Sastradewi from Sumbawa

Second Runner-up – Dinda Putri Alfitriyani from Mataram City

The Top 5 also included Sheilla Intan Permatasari and Putu Dewi Cahyani.

The main evaluation criteria of the pageant this year was based on 3B i.e. Beauty, Brain and Behaviour where the contestants’ intellectuality, the inner and outer beauty and ethical behaviour. Deputy Governor of NTB, Hj. Sitti Rohmi Djalillah also gave a welcoming speech at the Grand Finale. He hoped that the Indonesian Princess NTB 2020 could later be trusted to be able to make a strong contribution to the community in regional development.

The night's event was also enlivened by a dazzling appearance from Regina Ivanova, the first winner Indonesian Idol 2012. Also present at the event were the Chairman of the PKK Mobilizing Team as well as the Chairperson of the District / City Dekranasda in NTB, the head of the NTB Kominfotik Office, the Head of Tourism, and Invitations from the Provincial Government. NTB as well as entrepreneurs, culturalists, artists, millennials and SMEs.
