With almost all the international beauty pageants done and dusted with, Miss Nepal will begin its preparations to host the 26th edition of the pageant soon. Miss Nepal 2020 will witness delegates all over the country compete for the chance to represent Nepal at the major international beauty pageants for the next year.
While the search for the next edition is yet to begin, we have begun to prepare our wishlist for the competition. Sophiya Bhujel, the 24-year-old Nepali beauty stunned us in 2019 with her performance in Miss Nepal 2019.
Sophiya is a graduate in Business Management and is working towards becoming a successful businesswoman and Philanthropist. With the goal of helping the voiceless people of her country, Sophiya began her journey in the pageantry last year. Last year, she participated in Miss Nepal 2019 where she won everyone hearts at the competition and placed in the Top 7.
Sophiya is a member of Shiksha Nepal and has been helping people in rural Nepal to provide quality education to the children. She has also funded in a project to create a high-tech library in rural Dolpa in Nepal. Even though Sophiya has a strong backing to win Miss Nepal and represent her country in Miss World but it has always been her dream to be a representative of Nepal in Miss Universe as she believes she is better suited for the latter.
After her stint in Miss Nepal 2019, Sophiya was chosen to represent her country in Global Asian Model 2019 in November 2019. This only makes her chances stronger to comeback with all the dedication and hard work as she is definitely an ideal diva to raise her flag high at Miss Universe next year.
Sophiya’s beauty, charm, kindness and compassion make her a woman of substance in a fast-changing pageant world where beauty as the sole criteria is not kept to judge the contestants anymore. She also has been compared to Miss Universe 2016 2nd Runner-up Andrea Tovar which only make her credibility in the pageantry stronger, being compared to such a strong woman. However, that does not take away her idiosyncrasies as she is a unique person in herself. She definitely has made it to the wishlist of Miss Nepal 2020. What are your views?
