The Puteri Indonesia organization held the grand finale for South Sumatra province at 7 pm on Saturday, 6th December 2021 at Ballroom The Excelton Hotel, Indonesia where Extika Florenza was crowned as Puteri Indonesia Sumatera Selatan 2021/2022.

Puteri Indonesia Sumatera Selatan 2021/2022 Extika Florenza’s court included

First Runner-up – Tiara Ramadini

Second Runner-up – Nadia Aprisilia

Extika is not new to the world of pageantry as previously she won the title of Deputy II Girl Pagar Alam 2017 and Purna Paskibraka Indonesia 2017.

“Thank you to Allah SWT for granting my prayers to plan and give the best for me even things that I never expected would come in my life. I also thank myself for believing and being able to survive until now, still being strong in going through every process in life, for understanding and encouraging each other, being able to accept the ups and downs of life, and remain grateful for whatever happens,” the diva shared the news on her social media after winning the title.

“Thank you for accepting and being sincere for the disappointments and failures that occurred but remaining patient, strong and progressing to become better. Thank you also for not being complacent for all the good things and achievements that come. I have been through many things but if I were given the choice to be born again, I would still choose to be myself, because I believe what I have now can be useful and beneficial for myself and others. Now let's fix ourselves, get up and don't give up. Hopefully I can carry out this great responsibility well and give my best, as well as being a useful person for myself and others. Thank you to everyone who has prayed for the good for me and supported me in any situation, hopefully good things and your good prayers will also be with you, Amen,” she further added.

Also at the event, Rizki Rahmadhai won the Miss Indonesia's Favorite South Sumatra 2021/2022 title. The evening was graced by the presence of Puteri Indonesia Sumatera Selatan 2020 Widya Ayu Pratami and Puteri Indonesia Lingkungan 2020 Putu Ayu Saraswati.
