After the official announcement by the reigning Miss Universe, Pia Wurtzbach, about the confirmation on Miss Universe 2016 happening in Philippines, what got everybody talking was not much the venue but something else. It was the timing of the pageant that grabbed more attention than the place. 
 
 
Miss Universe 2016 will start at 5am in the morning (Philippines time), Shocking? Well, this is indeed true. The reason why the pageant will start at such awkward time is because it will comprehend with the time zone of Western Hemisphere. So the countries in these parts of the world can watch the pageant. The problem however will be faced in the other side of the world, well, basically in the host country itself. The country which is among the biggest fans of beauty pageants will have to adjust according to the time and the schedule of Miss Universe coronation night on January 30, 2017. 
 
The news has attracted mixed reactions from the fans. Well, it really sounds kind of crazy as the audiences will have to reach the venue by 4 in the morning. Netizens online expressed their disappointments, citing that their biological clock will be distorted just because they will be adjusting with the coronation event of Miss Universe beauty pageant in Manila, Philippines. Many are calling the pageant a challenge, as the event is actually coming up as a challenge for the fans to watch their favourite contestants. 
 
In fact, pageant fanatics and websites have gone onboard and prepared their list of do’s and dont’s before the finale to wake up on time. Suggestions like sleep early, and take a day off before the finale to prevent yourself from the stress are doing rounds on the internet. Few even suggested to introduce a new special award this year, called the “Miss Woke Up Like This” award.
