Karibel Perez is the newly designated representative of Dominican Republic at the upcoming edition of Reina Hispanoamericana 2021 that is scheduled to take place in October in the city of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, Bolivia. She succeeds Reina Hispanoamericana Dominican Republic 2019 Franchesca Astier, who also secured the position of seventh runner-up at the 2019 edition of the international pageant.
28 years-old Karibel is a flight attendant by profession and is a graduate from the University of Phoenix. She has travelled to over 40 countries and 45 states in the USA. This Hispanic beauty started competing in pageants to be able to empower and inspire young women all around the world. She believes, “It is not always about our external beauty it is about the internal part of being able to make a difference. Our legacy is always long lived when we set the right example and make an impact on those who look up to us.”
Karibel is also a professional model under The Naomi Group agency in New York. She is well versed with the roles in and as, fashion modelling, commercial, beauty, fitness, swimwear, lingerie/ boudoir/ film/ TV, promotional events, brand ambassador as well as trade shows.
Announcing her appointment she wrote, “God's timing is perfect. This is my moment… you guys ready? Road to Reina Hispanoamericana 2021!” Karibel has been a fan-favourite as an international representative since she has been a part of pageantries before. She was crowned Miss Dominican Republic USA 2019.
The diva believes that, “In order to grow and to experience, one must leave his comfort zone. Very often this means that you have to do what you are afraid of in order to find what you didn't know you were looking for. This takes a lot of courage.”
Perez has experience in beauty contests, is disciplined and shows ease to work with the organization. She is all set to represent Dominican Republic at the international platform with her eyes set on the crown and a goal to make her country proud. There is no doubt that Karibel Perez will raise the Dominican flag in style and pride.
