Reinado de El Salvador 2021 was held on 29th July 2021 at the Hotel Crowne Plaza San Salvador in San Salvador, El Salvador where Alejandra Gavidia was crowned Miss Universe El Salvador 2021. She succeeds Miss Universe El Salvador 2020 Vanessa Velázquez.
Alejandra Gavidia bested six other contestants to win the national crown. She stood out at the competition from the beginning with her oratory skills. Through her national title, Gavidia supports the asexual community as she is the founder of Asexuales El Salvador and plans to continue with her community visibility projects.
Gavidia holds a bachelor’s degree in public administration and government and a master’s degree in image consulting and political consulting. She is fluent in English, French and Portuguese. Through 2018 to 2019, the stunning beauty travelled the world gaining a different perspective. In 2020, she received the Joven Influyente de la República por parte de la Asamblea Legislativa recognition in El Salvador.
The remaining six contestants who competed for Miss Universe El Salvador 2021 title are Fabiola Samayoa, Nicole Álvarez, Krissia Zelaya, Fatima Calderón, Gabriela Colindres, Ingrid Chavez. In December 2021, Gavidia will represent El Salvador at Miss Universe 2021 in Eliat, Israel.
