Reinado Internacional del Café 2018 (aka Rainha Internacional do Café 2018 or International Coffee Queen 2018) has officially kicked off in Manizales, Colombia with the arrival of all the 25 candidates competing this year.
The girls arrived in Colombia on 6th January 2018 after which they have been quite busy with various events and activities. They were given a warm and colourful welcome by Feria de Manizales, a parade ceremony held at the 62nd Manizales Fair. This is a very auspicious ceremony for the locals of Manizales and the parade was held from the Cable to Plaza de Bolívar area.
All the contestants were adorning Chapolera Suit, a traditional dress of the country and they all were looking spectacular.
Later in the day the girls were spotted attending official Press Conference where they all were introduced to the media.
On day 2, the girls visited Los Nevados National Natural Park, a popular tourist destination. They also visited village "La Aurora" where they interacted with the locals and got to learn a little bit about the culture of Colombia.
Reinado Internacional del Café 2018 finale night is set to take place on 13th January 2018 where the reigning queen, Marílú Acevedo of Mexico will crown her successor. Till then do stay tuned to know the latest happening of the pageant with us.
