Miss Philippines Earth 2018, has made all its finalists known. The pageant is another one of really popular pageants in the country, and a celebrated one too. Over 40 girls have been selected as the contestants from thousands of applications. These earth warriors will fight for the crown, that currently belongs to Miss Earth Karen Ibasco, and a winner will be crowned at the finale of Miss Philippines Earth 2018 on 19th May 2018 at MOA Arena.

But before we the finale, it’s necessary to get to know the ladies fighting for the crown.

The representative of Bacolod, Lanao del Norteis Cindy Lynn Clapano. 20 years old, Cindy is a Customs Psychology Graduate. She stands tall at 5 feet 5 inches and measures 33 inches - 24 inches - 36 inches.

For Cindy, her childhood is one of the happiest periods of her life. She grew up in a community where the primary source of income was either through fishing or farming. She used to be an insecure girl as other kids would tease her because of her skin complexion. But she always made sure it won't negatively affect her entire life and always focuses on the positive side in every situation that she may encounter.

She wants to be Miss Philippines Earth because to make a positive impact to “our Mother Earth and to people by being a global advocate to environmental and social responsibility (sic)”. She also wants to help in increasing the level of awareness about current environmental issues and what a person can do about it.

Her environmental advocacy is “Start greening the planet, by greening your own home” because she believes that everything starts at home. “And if we will practice greening our own home, then we can also make our planet a greener, safer, and better place to live in,” Cindy concluded.

Miss Philippines Earth 2018 will take place on May 19, 2018, Saturday at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Philippines, at 7 pm. Be sure to catch Cindy Lynn Clapano at the coronation night.
