The best lesson that Chee claims to have learned during her childhood years is that if you really want something, you have to work hard for it. Realization about the world hit her and she realized it was not as easy as it seemed, the world, she says, does not revolve around her, but if she’d will work hard, then everything could be possible.

On beign asked why she wants to be Miss Philippines Earth 2018, Chee says, “I want to be Miss Philippines Earth 2018 because I would like to pursue on a national scale my advocacy of educating people, especially in costal areas to become sea guardians, and thus, help in protecting and preserving our marine life. I want to make use of this title and the influence it carries to serve as an example of good deeds for our environment.”

Her  environmental advocacy is to educate people, especially in costal areas to become “bantay dagat” or sea guardians for them to help enforce marine protection policies.
