Miss Philippines Earth 2018 is scheduled to take place on May 19, 2018, Saturday at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, Philippines, at 7 pm. The winner of Miss Philippines-Earth serves as the Ambassador to environmental protection campaigns in the country and represents the Philippines to one of the biggest international beauty competitions - the Miss Earth Pageant.
The country can’t hold its excitement as this pageant will decide the successor of the international winner Miss Earth 2017 and Miss Earth Philippines 2017 Karen Ibasco.
The Filipina beauty Miss Philippines Earth 2017 Karen Ibasco took the pageant world by a pleasant surprise when she emerged the winner of the Miss Earth contest last year. She turned out to be the 4th beauty from the Philippines to be crowned this international pageant after Karla Henry in 2008, Jamie Herrell in 2014 and Angelia Ong in 2015.
The Philippines good record at the Miss Earth pageant makes it even more important for the country to crown a well deserving candidate from the pool of contestants for the international platform.
