The 35 contestants for Miss Ireland pageant have been revealed. It will be the 69th edition of the prestigious pageant. The final will be held in Dublin’s Crowne Plaza Hotel at Northwood on 23rd September 2016.
The women were selected through state wise pageants. The state winners are now participating in Miss Ireland, the winner of which will go on to represent her country in the Miss World contest to be held in the Washington DC in November this year.
During the launch of the 69th Miss Ireland at Dublin’s Lillie’s Bordello, former Miss Ireland’s Aoife Walsh, Rebecca Maguire, Siobhan McClafferty and the current Miss Ireland Sacha Livingstone were also present.
The winner of Miss Ireland 2016 will receive a lucrative modeling contract and a host of prizes including clothes, hair and makeup products, and a professional photo shoot. The competition between these 35 beauty queens, vying for the crown, seems pretty tough. Let us hope for the best woman to win.
