Miss Universe Australia Organization has started its search for Australia’s next representative to Miss Universe 2016. The Organisation is still keeping up with its search, and so far six finalists have been shortlisted. The names of the shortlisted finalists are –

Monika Radulovic, who was the 4th Runner Up at Miss Universe 2015 pageant held in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States, will be crowning her successor at the end of the coronation night.
Miss Universe Australia pageant commenced in the Year 2004, when the first pageant was held. Jennifer Hawkins was the first ever winner of Miss Universe Australia pageant, and she also went on to win Miss Universe 2004 pageant. Miss Universe 2004, the 53rd Miss Universe pageant, was held in Centro de Convenciones CEMEXPO, Quito, Ecuador on June 1, 2004.
Carrying an admirable record at Miss Universe, Australia has produced two Miss Universe: Kerry Anne Wells in 1972 and Jennifer Hawkins in 2004. In February 2016, the new National Director of Miss Universe Australia Organization was appointed by the IMG/WME Talent and Modeling Agency, who is also the head of Miss Universe Organization presently. The current National Director of Miss Universe Australia is Troy Barbagallo.
