On Sunday night, the American TV host and a comedian made one of the biggest gaffe in Miss Universe history, while he was hosting the 2015 pageant. In the culminating segment of the show, he erroneously announced Miss Colombia 2015, Ariadna Gutierrez Arevalo as the winner, when it was supposed to be Miss Philippines 2015, Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach.

He came back moments later to rectify the blunder, which then led to a very unforgivably cringeworthy dethroning ceremony, where Miss Colombia 2015 had to smile throughout giving up the crown she thought she owned. Undoubtedly, Miss Columbia 2015 got the immediate hurt face when she found out it was indeed Miss Philippines who was the queen.

Making matters poorer, Harvey posted an apology tweet later, but directed it at “Miss Philippians” and “Miss Columbia”. He deleted the tweet and posted several with the correct spelling, but it had already dumped a ton of fuel on the fire.
