Suzi Roberts has been crowned as Miss South Carolina 2017 in front of a roaring crowd at Township Auditorium in Columbia, SC, on Saturday, June 24, 2017.
She will now represent her state at the Miss America competition 2018 to be held in Atlantic City, New Jersy, on September10, 2017. The event will be broadcast by the American Broadcasting Company (ABC). Miss America 2017 from Arkansas, Savvy Shields will officially crown her successor.
Suzi is 23 year-old hailing from Pawley’s Island. She has done her graduation from University of South Carolina. She performed a lyrical dance to Greatest Love of All for the talent competition. She won Swimsuit and Talent preliminary and was the Overall Talent Winner.
Both title-holders, Miss South Carolina and Miss South Carolina Teen will speak at a press conference on Sunday, June 25, 2017, at 10:30 a.m. at the Marriott Downtown.
The 45 contestants in this year’s Miss South Carolina and Miss South Carolina Teen competitions combined to raise more than $168,000 for Children’s Miracle Network hospitals.
