We can hear new wedding bells in the vicinity of the pageantry world. Miss Colombia 2008 and the first runner-up at the Miss Universe 2008, Taliana Vargas got married in a hush hush ceremony to entrepreneur Alejandro Eder on 15th August 2015. The wedding was a closed affair with 600 guests attending the wedding.
The guest list included defense minister of Colombia Luis Carlos Villegas and his wife Frank Pearl. Actor Manolo Cardona, presenter Andrea Serna, image consultant Franklin Ramos, Adriana Arboleda, Juliana Galvis were also present. Taliana made a princess impression with her gorgeous wedding dress created by Herrera and entered the church with 13 flower girls. The beauty queen had the wedding semi-themed, where women were asked to wear decorative hats. The couple also asked the guests fro minimum amount of money as their wedding gifts. This is because,the newly weds will be donating the money collected as wedding gift to children of the Foundation’s Tree House.
The Fundation was found and established by Taliana and today helps 200 children and single mothers. The whole program of the marriage was called the La Red program. Alejandro is a graduate in International Relations from Hamilton College and conflict resolution specialist at Columbia University.
