Standing tall at a height of 5’8, 26 year old Talyah Polee was crowned Miss Colorado USA 2015 at the finale held in Greeley. Polee was chosen by a panel of judges based on evening gown, swimsuit and question and answer round. She will now represent Colorado at the Miss USA 2015 pageant, to be held on July 12’ 2015. Born and raised in Victoriaville, CA, Polee was a track and field athlete at UNLV and it was during trips to track meets in Colorado that she fell in love with Denver. After finishing her education, she made the move to Colorado where she plans to get her master's degree.

She is passionate about music, yoga, sports, and is a dedicated fan of soap operas. One day she hopes to make an appearance on The Young and the Restless. Taylah is also a huge basketball fan. She is an intern for the NBA Summer league and has been actively involved with various charitable organisations. Her spirit and enthusiasm towards charitable work has allowed her to be involved in numerous causes including the Senior Olympic Games and Hoops for St. Jude’s Foundation, where she helped raise $80k for cancer research. She wants to work for the poor and the needy and give hope to the less fortunate children and their families.

The 26 year old philanthropist holds some endearing experiences in the glamorous world of pageantry. In 2013 she ended up as the 3rd runner-up at the Miss Nevada USA 2013 and in 2014 she made it to the Top15 slot at Miss Nevada USA 2014. So far Colorado has been one of the less successful states at the Miss USA Pageant, having not had a finalist since 1963 until Jessica Hartman finished third runner-up in 2010. However they have been successful in bagging other special awards, being one of the four states to have won Miss Photogenic title twice.

Will this gorgeous benevolent Queen bring home the long awaited crown of Miss USA 2015? Only time will tell…!!
