Miss Universe is an international beauty pageant which is organized annually and is one of the significant Big Four International pageants in the world which commenced in the year 1952. Thailand has proven its worth in this international pageant as it did not leave behind in securing notable spot from the year 2015 till present.
This proves that the country was on the track in these recent years and acquired top positions in the pageant. Now it’s the time to check out the winnings made by the country.
Commencing from the year 2015, Aniporn Chalermburanawong born in Lampang represented her country in Miss Universe 2015 and with the grace of her talent, she secured a place in Top 10 and won Best in National Costume award at the conclusion. Aniporn is a Thai actress and completed her higher education from at Thammasat University, majored in Social Administration.
Another beauty who made the nation live in the wave of pride is Chalita Suansane who represented the country at Miss Universe 2016 and ended up being placed in Top 6 at the conclusion. She was born in Nonthaburi, Thailand and besides being a beauty queen, she is a Thai actress as well.
Maria Lynn Ehren is another beautiful diva who continued to bring pride to the nation as she competed in Miss Universe 2017 and secured her place in Top 5 at the conclusion. She is a Swedish-Thai beauty and model who was born in Bangkok, Thailand. She graduated with a bachelor's degree from Erasmus University Rotterdam in the Netherlands and later attended Stockholm Business School for her master's degree within Stockholm University, receiving her degree in international business commerce.
In the year 2018, Ning Sophida competed in the pageant and brought immense pride and joy to the nation as she secured a place in Top 10 at the conclusion of the finale. Sophida was born in Bangkok and graduated with Business Administration from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a degree in Finance. She became an investment banking manager when she was age 22, becoming the youngest female manager in TMB Bank.
This year, Miss Universe Thailand 2019 Paweensuda Drouin will be competing in Miss Universe 2019 and if she performs that outstandingly then it would be an addition to Thailand’s splendid recognition in Miss Universe pageant once again.

Before the year 2015, the country couldn’t secure any of the top positions in the finale for a long time, but suddenly it started securing Top positions in the finale and did not break the cord of success and is moving ahead with the same determination.
