2016 has just begun and the hunt for the new beauty queens who would represent their nation at various international pageants is on. Miss Russia organization has set its eyes to seek Sofia Nikitchuk’s successor soon. The search for the new Miss Russia 2016 has begun in the country. The winner and the runners up will go to represent Russia at Miss Universe 2016 and Miss World 2016. Miss Russia 2015, Sofia Nikitchuk will crown her successor at the end of the pageant.

While the search for Sofia’s successor is ongoing with full swing, only 22 delegates have been confirmed so far. These 22 delegates with their spellbinding beauty and exuberance seem quite promising, and assure for an exceedingly competitive batch.

Miss Russia 2015, Sofia Nikitchuk represented Russia at Miss World 2015, were she was titled as the first runner-up to Miss World, Mireia Lalaguna Royo of Spain on 19’ December 2015. Sofia made the cut to almost every fastrack segment of Miss World 2015 and impressed the audiences as well as judges with her awe-inspiring magnetism, thereby winning the Continental Queen of Europe title at the same. Sofia’s first runner-up at Miss Russia 2015, Vladislava Evtushenko competed at Miss Universe 2015 in Las Vegas but could not make the cut to the semi-finals in the coronation night.

Russia has won two key international titles, counting two Miss World and one Miss Universe.
