Miss Earth Beauties reach Ghana for Trash in Bin Campaign

Miss Earth fever is still not over it seems, some of the Miss Earth 2016 beauties are still on roll to participate in various events. The latest one is the Trash in Bin Campaign being organised by the Miss Earth Ghana organisation. Miss Earth Air 2016 Michelle Gommez, Miss Earth India 2016 Rashi Yadav, Miss Earth Bahamas 2016 Candisha Rolle, and Miss Earth Zambia 2016 Sharon Enkromelle Andrew are in Accra to assist Miss Earth Ghana 2016, Deborah Eyram Dodor launch the project.
 
The launch ceremony is scheduled to be held on 21st April 2017 at the Golden Tulip Hotel in Accra and beauties in attendance will be - Miss Earth 2013, Miss Earth 2014, Miss Earth Air 2016, Miss Earth Lebanon, Miss Earth England, Miss Earth Guam, Miss Earth Suriname, Miss Earth India, Miss Philippines, Miss Earth Zambia, Miss Nigeria, Miss Earth Bahamas, Miss Earth, Miss Earth Kenya, Miss Earth Namibia and Miss Earth Mexico. The girls will also pay visit to various personalities and promoting the use of trash bins.

In addition to launching the program, the beauties are also scheduled to meet the ministers of Environment, Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts, Local Government, Lands and Natural Resources. They will also be visiting various embassies in Accra, charity events with ‘kayayei’ and will take a tour to the Elmina Castle and other places of interest. In addition to the scheduled meets and travel, the delegates will also take part at a tree planting exercise at Kyebi with the Okyehene, Osagyefo Amotia Ofori Panin, a ‘trash in bin’ campaign / durbar in Ho and a boat ride to Subhi Accad Island, which is located in Ada, Greater Accra Region.
 
‘Trash In Bin Campaign’ encourages people to develop the habit of putting their trash or rubbish in bins instead of littering the environment with it. “Trash in Bin” campaign is an initiative to keep the world clean by throwing the garbage in the bin and not just anywhere else.
