20 years old Turið Elinborgardóttir who was crowned as the Miss Earth Denmark 2015 on August 15’ 2015 at AC Bella Sky Hotel, Copenhagen, Denmark, has resigned from the title. Turið represented Denmark at the Miss Earth 2015 pageant.
The official Facebook page of Miss Earth Denmark made the announcement about Turið’s resignation, and the reason is being said to be some medical condition. The Miss Earth Denmark organisation said that unfortunately due to “unforeseen medical circumstances”, Turið had chosen to resign from the title of Miss Earth Denmark 2015.
Hence, after Turið Elinborgardóttir made her resignation, the organisation announced Laila Karim, as the new Miss Earth Denmark 2015. Laila will now be responsible to carry forward the duties of the Miss Earth Denmark and will also crown the Miss Earth Denmark 2016 as her successor. We wish Turið a speedy recovery, and we hope Laila succeeds in her duties as the new Miss Earth Denmark 2015.
