Vilde Andresen Bø to represent Norway in Miss International 2017

Vilde Andresen Bø has been chosen to represent Norway in Miss International 2017 beauty pageant as per the announcement on the official website of Miss Universe Norway organization.  The beauty hails from Tonsberg, Norway and is presently a student of media and communications.

Vilde will travel to Tokyo on 25th October 2017 and she will be present there until the finale on 14th November 2017. She mentioned that she cannot describe how happy she is for the opportunity given and feels lucky to represent Norway on such a big platform.

"We as participants are expected to emerge as ambassadors of “peace and beauty”. Where the basic idea is that we are going to show tenderness, benevolence, friendship, beauty, intelligence, the ability to trade, and most importantly of all, have a great international sensibility”, she said.

The stunner participated in Miss Universe Norway 2017 competition where she was placed as the first runner-up. She competed in the contest together with fourteen other contestants and managed to grab the first runner-up spot. At the same event, Kaja Caroline Kojan won the title of Miss Universe Norway 2017 and is slated to represent Norway in Miss Universe 2017.

Norway has a great share of achievements in Miss International pageant. In 1978, Jeanette Aarum won the first runner-up title, in 1988 and 1995 Norway won the Miss International title with Catherine Alexandra Gude and Anne Lena Hansen getting crowned Miss International 1988 and Miss International 1995 respectively.
