The magnificent finale of Miss Honduras Mundo 2015 came to an impressive conclusion with the crowning of Gabriela Salazar as the winner of Miss Honudras World 2015. Gabriela, hailing from the capital city of Tegucigalpa succeeds her predecessor María José Alvarado, who was murdered by her sister’s boyfriend days before her participation at Miss World.
The finals of Miss Honduras Mundo 2015 pageant was held in San Pedro Sula City over the weekend. Gabriela, who stands tall at a towering height of 5’9, will now compete at the Miss World 2015 pageant to be held in Sanya China. At the same event, Andreas Salinas was adjudged first runner-up and Corina Flores was titled second runner-up.
The finals of Miss Honduras Mundo 2015 started with a tribute to the former beauty queen Maria Jose Alvarado. A total of 20 contestants hailing from different parts of Honduras competed for the coveted crown. The top ten finalists of the night were from the city - La Lima, La Ceiba, Santa Barbara, Copan, Colon Valle, Olancho, San Pedro Sula, Tegucigalpa and Danli.
