The reigning Miss Earth Angelia Gabrena Ong is finally in the USA. The beauty queen previously announced about her trip to USA during her Facebook Live Chat. This is Angelia’s first trio ever to the USA as the reigning Miss Earth titleholder.
Angelia is in the USA for a series of Environmental and Social Activities promoting “Beauties for a Cause”. The beauty queen was welcomed by the Miss Earth US Organisation and both Angelia and reigning Miss Earth USA Brittany Anne Payne visited the White House. Angelia will also grace the coronation night of Miss Earth United States 2016 in Washington D.C. and the Fiesta Celebration in Florida. USA had won the Miss Earth Air title with Andrea Neu in 2014 followed by Brittany’s elemental placement in 2015.

The judges for the Miss Earth USA 2016 judges include 2002 Miss USA Shauntay Hinton; 2011 Miss America Teresa Scanlan; 2007 Miss Earth Jessica Trisko-Darden, PhD; 2015 Pageant Fitness Trainer of the Year John Morris; The Pageant Planet’s Stephanie McGrane; CEO of Planet Beach Spa Stephen P. Smith, and 2015 Miss Earth-Fire Thiessa Sickert of Brazil.
50 contestants from all over USA will be competing for the coveted title of Miss Earth United States 2016, and only one of them will earn the right to be called USA at the Miss Earth 2016 pageant. In January 2016, after the Miss Earth USA and Carousel split up Laura Clark waws appointed as the new National Director of Miss Earth USA. Laura Clark has held prominent positions with the Miss United States Organization, Miss World America, the National Football League, Going Pro Entertainment and Universal Dance Association. After earning the title of Miss United States 2011, she became a state director and national director of marketing for Miss United States and Miss World America.
