The Miss Peru´ organization hosted the coronation ceremony for the 2022 edition on 14th June 2022 where the top 6 finalists competed for the national crown. At the end of the event finale, Valeria Flórez was crowned Miss Perú Latina Universal 2022.

Valeria Flórez is a 25-year-old television host, actress and singer who was one of the most loved contestants at this year’s edition. She was born and raised in Lima, Peru. Her first experience on the small screen was on the remembered program América Kids. She'd go on to appear on the series El Pack on Willax TV. Valeria is currently an announcer and TV presenter.

In the year 2019, Valeria also stood out as a radio announcer on a well-known Peruvian station and oversaw the program “Todo vale”. In this segment, she promoted interaction with her listeners by proposing colloquial hashtags so that they can comment on her opinions through social networks.

On participating in Miss Peru 2022, Valeria also spoke, "I always had the dream of representing my country in some way and what better way than with something like Miss Peru, an organization that seeks to do social help, positive work, always looking for the well-being of children, women, animals," she said very excited. for this new challenge in your life.”

“A year ago I was writing to them on social networks and they had not answered me, they did not answer me. So, (people in the organization) started saying, 'Why not? She's a fit girl,' and they passed my contact on to Jessica Newton,” she added.

Also at the finale, Alessia Rovegno was crowned Miss Perú 2022 and Tatiana Calmell was crowned Miss International Peru 2022. The newly crowned queens will represent Peru at the upcoming editions of Miss Universe and Miss International pageants respectively.
