Miss Universe Latvia organization, through their official social media, announced Kate Alexeeva as the official representative of Latvia at Miss Universe 2023, to be held later in the year in El Salvador.

Kate Alexeeva was crowned Miss Universe Latvia 2022 and was supposed to represent her country at Miss Universe 2022 but unfortunately had to withdraw from the competition after she tested positive for covid-19.

Kate is an international model and influencer from Riga. She is the founder of the beauty, cosmetics and personal care brand Glambox. Not new to the pageantry, she has previously participated in international pageants such as Top Model of the World, Miss Grand International, to name a few.

Kate is a fluent speaker of Latvian, Russian, and English. This year, in May, Kate also walked the red carpet at Cannes Film Festival 2023. With all of her experience, her stunning beauty and a strong personality, Kate will surely be a strong contender at Miss Universe 2023 this year.

Miss Universe 2023, the 72nd edition of Miss Universe, is scheduled to be held in November 2023 where Miss Universe 2022 R'Bonney Gabriel of the United States will crown her successor at the end of the event finale.
