Reigning Miss World Mireia Lalaguna Royo of Spain will be in Russia next week on Tuesday, 24th May to support the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS.

The buzz has been confirmed by the Miss World organization. Mireia Lalaguna will also meet Sofia Nikitchuk, Miss Russia 2015 for the first time after the coveted pageant Miss World 2015 took place in Sanya, China on Decemeber 19’ 2016, wherein Mireia Lalaguna was crowned as the eminent winner of the pageant.
After reaching Russia, Mireia will rendezvous with the UNAIDS Regional director, will visit a UN Medical research facility, and take part in a series of talks, including an interview on UN Radio and an online discussion on Russian social media platform ‘Odnoklassniki’.

The Spanish beauty, Mireia Lalaguna is pretty excited about the trip. She took her social media handle to express her feelings -
“The UN is an inspirational organization, and I am honoured to be invited to take part in next week’s programme. The HIV virus has reached almost every country in the world, but there is still a lack of knowledge in many areas. I hope next week I can help spread the message of the programme, and help to save lives.”
