Antoinette Kelali Kemavor is Miss Ghana 2015

Antoinette Kelali Kemavor was crowned Miss Ghana 2015 at the conclusion of the finale held on November 7’ 2015 at the Accra International Conference Centre. She will now represent Ghana at the Miss World 2015 pageant to be held on December 19’ 2015 in Sanya, China.

20 years old Antoinette, standing tall at a towering height of 179 cm, is a stunning black beauty. She succeeds Nadia Ntanu, Miss Ghana 2014. Nadia was among the Top 25 finalists at the Miss World 2014 pageant. Antoinette Kelali Kemavor is a Pharmacy student at Central University. She has a soft corner for old age people and likes working for them. Kemavor describes herself as a beautiful, curious and a daring lady with a fighting spirit.

Anotoinette’s best feature according to her is her smile. However, she feels that she needs a little grooming and training to boost up her confidence. Antoinette along with Liesl Laurie of South Africa, are the strongest contenders from Africa, for the Miss World 2015 title. At the same event, Afua Akrofi was adjudged the first runner-up Rebecca Asamoah was adjudged the second runner-up.

Ghana made its debut at the Miss World in the year 1959 with Star Nyaniba Annan as their first ever representative. However, she couldn’t bring any placement to the country. Since then, Ghana has only managed five placements at the Miss World so far. Ghana got its highest placement in the year 2013 when Carranzar Shooter placed second runner-up to Megan Young of Philippines. Ghana has won Beauty with a Purpose twice, first being in 2006 and second time in 2011.
