Meet the finalist of Miss Universo Uruguay 2016 Maria Romina Trotto Morales. The beauty queen was born on December 20, 1996 in Montevideo (Uruguay). Her family comprises of her parents - Lilia Morales and Nelson Trotto, and her brothers - Camilo (21) and Ramiro (19).

The 19 years old beauty queen hails from Cerro Largo. She completed her education from Don Bosco School. Romina is fond of basketball and enjoys swimming. She also likes visiting different states and making ??good friends at new place!

Standing at an astounding height of 5’9, Romina Trotto has been a model since adolescence. Her height has been her biggest advantage and has helped her grow and make a mark in the modelling industry. She had also won the prestigious title of Elite Model 2014 in Uruguay.

Since her childhood, Romania has been dreaming of becoming a beauty queen, and still holds the dream close to her heart. She said, “The gateway is my world, my goal; all my steps have been directed to do so without neglecting my studies, because knowledge and culture are indispensable in this world to advance in all areas of life”.

Her hourglass figure, attractive features and confident attitude are her positive qualities that make her stand out from the rest of the contenders.

Miss Universo Uruguay 2016 (also known as Nuestra Belleza Uruguay or Miss Uruguay) is all set to be held on April 30’ 2016. The winners of Miss Universo Uruguay 2016 pageant will represent Uruguay at the Miss Universe 2016, Miss World 2016 and Miss International 2016.

The reigning Miss Uruguay, Bianca Sanchez will pass her reign and crown to her successor at the end of the event.
