Paula Otero is the finalist of Miss Universo Uruguay 2016. She hails from Rocha, and is currently studying at the ORT University pursuing International Relations.

The 20 years old aspirant feels blessed that she is one of the official candidates of the Miss Universo Uruguay 2016 contest. Paula Otero describes her happiness – “I could not believe it, I started modeling recently and when I got appointed as the official candidate of the Miss Universo Unruguay 2016, I was not aware that I would be able to get that far”.

Her honey blonde hair, compelling eyes and perfect statistics are just apt for the contest, and she can surely make her way to the prestigious crown of Miss Universo Uruguay 2016.

Paula Otero is crazy about Pizza made with ham topping. Since a very young age, Paula has been enjoying reading novels. Talking about her dress sense, the girl discloses - “I have a fairly casual dress sense, and I like wearing it  most of the time, because I feel comfortable in casual attires, and when it comes to formals, it would be a shirt and pant always.”

The very first thing she does in the morning is washing and moisturizing her skin, essentially applying sunscreen to protect the skin from the UV rays.

On being asked about her biggest challenge at the pageant, she replied “I would try to compensate for lack of experience I have, as many finalists have already participated in other contests or have been working in the fashion industry. Though, I’m prepared for the contest and I hope I can overcome any drawbacks with my preparations.”

Miss Universo Uruguay 2016 (also known as Nuestra Belleza Uruguay or Miss Uruguay) is all set to be held on April 30’ 2016. The winners of Miss Universo Uruguay 2016 pageant will represent Uruguay at the Miss Universe 2016, Miss World 2016 and Miss International 2016.

The reigning Miss Uruguay, Bianca Sanchez will pass her reign and crown to her successor at the end of the event.
