At the magnificent finale of Miss Earth Uganda 2015, Pearl Assasira Brenda has been crowned as the winner. The coronation night took place at Imperial Royale Hotel in Kampala. The last Miss Earth Uganda who got crowned was Victoria Nabagereka in the year 2008. Hence, at the finals of Miss Earth Uganda 2015, Victoria crowned the new queen. Pearl will now be representing Uganda at the Miss Earth 2015 pageant.
Pearl defeated 11 other contestants to clinch the crown. A total of 20 girls were shortlisted initially from all the districts and ultimately the final 11 were chosen. The 11 finalists were trained for 2 weeks. There was a national costume round that took place on August 30, followed by talent round and question-and-answer session. At the same event, Sandra Akello from Lira was crowned Miss Earth Air Uganda 2015, Hope Jaguar Keto from Tororo was crowned Miss Earth Water Uganda 2015 and Janat Muzito Kayedeke from Mbale was crowned Miss Earth Fire Uganda 2015.
Pearl Assasira Brenda is the fourth Ugandan beauty to participate at Miss Earth. Previous beauties could not achieve a placement in their respective years. Do you think Pearl has what it takes to be the next Miss Earth?
