At the culmination of the finale of Miss Peru Universo 2016 aka Miss Peru Universe 2016, held on April 24’ 2016 in Peru, 26 years old Valeria Piazza was crowned as the winner of Miss Peru Universe 2016 by the outgoing queen Laura Spoya. Valeria will now represent Peru at the Miss Universe 2016 pageant. At the same event, Priscila Stephany Howard and Danea Panta made it to the Top 3 finalists.
The beautiful and gorgeous beauty queen, Valeria Piazza was one of the Peruvian models who dazzled at the Leonisa Fashion Show 2013. Also, this attractive lady was crowned as Miss Model of the World 2014, in China. The model Valeria Piazza, has an astounding height and exquisite looks. The Miss Universe Peru 2016 started off with thirty-one (31) contestants competing for the crown. After competing at swimsuit competition, the 31 finalists were narrowed down to Top tfifteen (15)semi-finalists. Who were– Valeria Piazza, Suemi Jhong, Priscila Stephany Howard, Marjory Patino Lopez, Lucero Francis, Leonela Lopez, Janick Maceta, Ivana Yturbe, Hany Portocarrero, Giuliana Montalbetti, Giuliana Barrios, Estefani Mauricci Gil, Antonella De Groot, Danea Panta, and Ana Estefania Vasquez.
The Top 15 were further narrowed down to Top 11 semi finalists - Valeria Piazza, Suemi Jhong, Priscila Stephany Howard, Janick Maceta, Ivana Yturbe, Giuliana Montalbetti, Giuliana Barrios, Estefani Mauricci Gil, Antonella De Groot, Danea Panta, and Ana Estefania Vasquez.
The Top 11 then walked the ramp in their respective evening gowns, looking nothing less than a dream. Based on the Evening Gown competition, the judges announced the Top 5 finalists for the night. The Top 5 Finalists were - Valeria Piazza, Priscila Stephany Howard, Estefani Mauricci Gil, Ivana Yturbe, and Danea Panta. leading to the final three (3) they were- Valeria Piazza, Priscila Stephany Howard and Danea Panta.

The scintillating gala were judged by eminent personalities, and Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach was one of them.
Valeria Piazza has now taken over the reign and crown from her predecessor and will now be representing Peru at the international pageant of Miss Universe 2016.
