Miss Earth Netherlands 2016 : Info

Miss Earth Netherlands 2016 held its coronation night on 5th June 2016 in Netherlands where Deborah van Hemert was crowned the new queen by the outgoing Miss Earth Netherlands Leena Asarfi at the conclusion of the contest. The winner Deborah van Hemert has officially earned the right to represent Netherlands at Miss Earth 2016 pageant.

20-years-old Deborah van Hemert hails from Heinkenszand (Zeeland). She is half Dutch and half Indonesian as her mother is of Indonesian descent. Hence, she grew up learning two cultures and is very proud of her roots. Deborah holds a degree in beautician and has worked as a professional beautician at a renowned spa, and now the beauty queen owns her own beauty salon. 

There were a total number of 4 delegates who competed for the title from all four parts of Netherlands (North, East, West and South) at the Miss Earth Netherlands 2016 pageant. The four gorgeous contestants were:

Farah Qureshi from North (Buitenpost, Friesland)

Lauraine van der Werff from East (Emmen, Drenthe)

Larissa de Bruin from West (Rockanje, Zuid-Holland)

Deborah van Hemert from South (Heinkenszand, Zeeland).
