Gloren Guelos was crowned Miss Earth Canada 2020 on 19th September 2020 and is representing the home country for the title of Miss Earth 2020.
The diva’s advocacy for the competition is to find a sustainable way to recycle medical masks. With the spike in the use of disposable PPE’s, she explains that we do not have a way to properly recycle the masks. As Miss Earth Canada, she will be working with the University of British Columbia Bioproducts Institute to implement their research on making biodegradable masks and educate her community about proper waste management.
