Sheyla Ravelo Perez was crowned Miss Earth Cuba 2022 during the 3rd edition of the Miss Cuba U.S. pageant directed by NBNC Nuestra Belleza Nacional Cuba. Sheyla was born in San Antonio de Los Baños, Cuba but immigrated to the United States when she was four years old. She is a first-generation college student and attends the University of Florida, a top 5 ranked public university, where she graduated with honors in 2021.
At the pre-pageant events, she won silver medal from Americas group in the swimsuit competition, silver medal in the beach wear competition, gold medal in the fire group in Long gown competition, gold medal in the fire group in the talent competition and Miss Isla de Romblon 2022 winner from the fire group.
