The most-awaited 12 finalists for the opening edition of Miss Earth India 2015 have been recently announced and the very-first edition of the pageant will be held on November 4’ 2015 at Kingdom of Dreams, Gurgaon. Hence there is a lot of excitement about it already.

For the first-time in history, a separate pageant is being held to elect Miss Earth India.  Until now, Femina was responsible for sending delegates to the Miss Earth pageant. The franchise of Miss Earth India was obtained by the Glamanand Supermodel India team earlier this year.

The winner of the Miss Earth India 2015 will represent India at the fifteenth edition of Miss Earth where, Jamie Herrell, Miss Earth 2014 from the Philippines will pass on her crown to her successor at the end of the event. It will be held on 5 December 2015 at Marx Halle, Vienna, Austria.
