On the way to a grand finale in the pageant season this year is the Miss World 2016. Ambitious contestants from South American countries, among others, are vying to be crowned Miss World 2016 by the hands of the reigning queen, Mireia Lalaguna of Spain. The contestants from South America at this year’s Miss World pageant are Camila Macias, Leyda Suarez Aldana, Beatrice Fontoura, Antonia Cristal Figueroa, Shirley Atehortua, Mirka Paola Cabrera Mazzini, Nuriyyih Gerrard, Simone Patricia Freitag, Pierina Wong Mori, Maria Romina Trotto Morales, and Diana Croce.
