Nelamith Xaypannha Soumounthong was crowned Miss World Laos 2019 on 15th September 2018 as she became the official delegate of Laos at Miss World 2019. The diva is 20 years of age and stands 170 cm tall. Nelamith is currently studying business at Laos- American College and aspires to be a social worker. In her free time, she is a volunteer and would like to one day run her own foundation. In her free time, she plays football and snooker. Her favourite food is papaya salad, but she also enjoys a traditionally British fish and chips. Since winning her national contest she has helped people in Laos who have been affected by flooding.
