Suman Rao was crowned Miss India 2019 at the finale night held on 15th June 2019 at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Indoor Stadium, Mumbai. She completed her schooling from Mahatma School of Academics and Sports in Navi Mumbai and is pursuing Chartered Accountancy course from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. She is also a trained Kathak dancer.
