Yukta Mookhey of India won the Miss World 1999 and became the fourth woman from India to win the title. The 49th Miss World pageant was held on 4 December 1999 at Olympia, London. Mookhey was crowned Miss World 1999 beating 93 delegates from other countries. Yukta is currently engaged in social and charitable causes for the poor and underprivileged.
