The Miss China organization hosted the coronation ceremony for Miss Universe China 2021 on 7th November 2021 in Beijing, where Shiyin Yang was crowned as the new queen. She succeeded Miss Universe China 2020 Jianxin Sun for the title.
20 years-old Shiyin is a college scholar learning social communication with a focus on literary and artistic directing. The queen often participates in the execution of public welfare events and has been a volunteer since the age of 13.
In 2018, she scored the highest score in national professional school examination and was admitted into one of the top colleges in China’s media industry. She has also previously worked in the reception service in an exchange activity of ambassadors.
