The Miss Universe Laos organization hosted the 3rd edition of the national pageant on 31st October 2021, where Jenny Tonkham Phonchanheuang was crowned as the new queen as she succeeded Miss Universe Laos 2020 Christina Lasasimma for the title.
26 years-old Jenny stands 176 cm tall and is pursuing a graduate level degree at the University’s International Finance and Accounting faculty. Jenny often helps society to distribute food to the Community Foundation of shared water to the poor and also volunteers to help victims of natural disasters in the past and has received the Thailand Digital Award for Outstanding Actress in Digital Empowerment in 2020.
Not new to pageantry, Jenny was appointed as Miss World Laos 2017 and debuted for the country at the Miss World 2017 pageant, where she finished unplaced. She also stepped into the entertainment industry with magazine, travel, style shooting ads and commercial contracts.
