Nguyen Thúc Thuy Tiên of Vietnam was crowned Miss Grand International 2021 as she succeeded Miss Grand International 2020 Abena Appiah of USA. Nguyen focuses on her motto ‘Never regret. Keep moving forward’ and always tries to find silver lining in every situation even after all the neglect in her life.
This year, the organization introduced another segment as the Top 2 tied and were asked a final question before the crowning happened. She took home the crown after they were asked why they believe they should win the title. In response, Tiên gave a candid reply and mentioned that she did not believe she would be among the top two and expressed that she was nervous. However, she mentioned that she was ’ready to work’ if crowned Miss Grand International 2021.
