Philippines, the country which has been a major producer of some of the most successful beauty queens, has also witnessed these queens turning into actresses. One such diva is Alyssa Muhlach Alvarez, who will now be seen in the upcoming ABS-CBN tele-series ‘2 Good 2 Be True’.
During the recently held media launch event, Alyssa also declared and revealed that she has put off her plans of making a comeback to pageantry this year. The diva chose the opportunity to work with KathNiel over her return to the industry. “All of us, we can say that we are so honored to work with KathNiel,” she shared.
Other cast members include, Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, the lead stars of the series. Muhlach teased that her character will have shades of being an antagonist. “It's not bad. They will only know from the story,” she said. The beauty also took turns to briefly talk about her pageant career.
Muhlach then recounted telling Bernardo about her plans to return to pageantry in 2022, as well as why she finally decided against it. “I remember, I told Kath, I was actually thinking of joining another pageant this year. But I said, 'Next time it's the crown, KathNiel first!' ”, she said.
Even though she did not mention which national pageant she had considered joining, Alyssa is definitely not new to pageantry as she previously joined Miss World Philippines in 2018 and later represented Philippines at Reina Hispanoamericana 2018. If she decides to return, she will undoubtedly be a prospective delegate for the country.
