Maëva Coucke, Miss World France 2018, is representing France in the ongoing Miss World 2018 and she is not here to disappoint! Being the first delegate to enter Miss World 2018 Top 30 as she won the Top Model Competition just recently, she has made her country very proud and maintained a strong foothold in the pageant.

Born on 28th June 1994, Maëva Coucke is a French model and a beauty pageant titleholder. Her parents got divorced as she was young and she has stayed with her mother ever since. She also received a national diploma of higher education in International Law. Currently, she is studying for her law degree at Lille 2 University of Health and Law in order to become a corporate lawyer.

Not new to the pageant world, Maëva began her journey when she was crowned Miss Boulogne 2013. In the following year, she was crowned Miss Foire Expo 2014 and also was a runner-up in Miss Mining Country and Miss South Opal Coast. Then, in 2016, she was crowned Miss Pévèle 2016 and competed in Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais 2017 which she went on to win. Thus, she won Miss France 2018 where she represented Nord-Pas-de-Calais.

Interestingly, Maëva Coucke is the third Miss France winner from the province of Nord-Pas-de-Calais in the last four years of Miss France pageant after Miss France 2015 Camille Cerf and Miss France 2016 Iris Mittenaere, both of whom were also representatives of the same province in their respective Miss France pageants.

Apart from her education and future aspects, Maëva is also interested and passionate about the world of Fashion which is quite apparent with her gorgeous styling choices throughout her social media. The exotic European beauty is more than accomplished to win the coveted Miss World crown, in our opinion. Always quite discreet about her personal life, Maëva Coucke has always made sure that the light always stayed on her work and not her personal relationships. That’s an admirable quality of a beauty queen!

France has one just one Miss World title and that too was in 1953, just two years after the pageant started when Denise Perrier was crowned Miss World 1953. Other than that, the country has not yet won any other Miss World title. Last year, Aurore Kichenin represented France in Miss World 2017 and performed exceedingly well as she placed in the Top 5 of Miss World 2017.
